Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for ThanksBill, operated by Techoshik Technologies ("we", "us", "our"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

1. Free Trial

  • Every new shop starts with a 30-day free trial — no payment details are collected and nothing is charged
  • When the trial ends, the shop becomes read-only: your existing data stays accessible, but new bills cannot be created until the shop is activated on a paid plan
  • Nothing to cancel and nothing to refund — if you do nothing, you are never charged

2. Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions are purchased per shop, per year, and are paid in advance through Razorpay
  • Prices are inclusive of all applicable taxes; the displayed price is the full amount charged
  • Subscriptions do not renew automatically without a payment made by you — you choose when to renew each shop

3. Cancellation

  • There is no lock-in contract — you can stop using ThanksBill at any time
  • A paid subscription runs until the end of its paid period; if you choose not to renew, the shop becomes read-only after the period ends
  • To close your account entirely, contact us at contact.thanksbill@gmail.com

4. Refunds

  • Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or expressly approved by us in writing
  • If you believe you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate payment or a failed activation that was still charged), contact us within 7 days of the charge at contact.thanksbill@gmail.com — verified erroneous charges are refunded in full
  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method via Razorpay, typically within 7–10 business days of approval

5. Your Data After Cancellation

  • You can export your products and reports from the Service at any time; for a copy of other data, contact us before closing your account
  • After account termination, data is retained for up to 90 days before permanent deletion, except where retention is required by law or necessary to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or maintain backup systems for a limited period
